A Georgian Town House built in 1759, in which Mary Wollstonecraft (a pioneer of women’s rights) lived as a child. Tour the main rooms of the house.
Eastgate Studio

Hebblethwaite House the upper reaches

The Church of St Mary Magdalene is an Anglican church in the hamlet of Whitgift, located by the River Ouse.. The church is noted for its clock which displays the number 13 in Roman numerals in what should be the 12 o'clock position!
