From grand country living, to convent school and then a 'Renovation Nightmare'- discover Rise Hall's history and take a look at its present role as a luxury wedding and events venue

Grade II*-listed Rise Hall has a long history, with many roles over the centuries. The estate was once owned by Richard Plantagenet, Duke of Gloucester, better known as King Richard III. Family home of the Bethell family for 300 years, it went from a high society house, to a convent school, and then derelict, before being renovated and reborn as a luxury venue.

Take a tour of the main rooms and learn how the building has changed with each incarnation- and see how the current owners are investing in Rise Hall's future as a wedding and events venue.
