Drop-in to ArtCare and get special access to the archives held at Salisbury District Hospital that cover Salisbury City public health, medicine and astounding inventions from 1767 to present day.
Avebury
Enjoy free entry to Avebury Manor Garden and the Alexander Keiller Museum on Fri 6 and Sat 7 September 2024. The annual sculpture exhibition will premier on Fri 6 September for visitors to enjoy a diverse range of art throughout the colourful garden.

Biddesden House
The house was built by General Webb in 1711. You will see his equestrian portrait and paintings and furniture belonging to the present owners.

Though not technically ‘heritage’, the Biodigester is an important ‘green’ addition to Warminster’s infrastructure that creates electricity out of food waste. Hopefully it will render other forms of electricity generation historic’.

St Andrew's Church Castle Combe
Exhibition about St Aldhelm's Way, which passes through Castle Combe, local walking routes, maps and signposts. Local volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and help with accessing the church heritage tour on 13th and 14th September.
St James' Church
The church is a Grade II* listed building, as described in “An Architectural Description”. There are a number of windows and memorials of interest and the church houses the regimental chapel of the Wiltshire Regiment.
St John the Baptist Church, Devizes
St. John's Church was built in the early 12th Century by the Bishops of Salisbury. It was initially the Church for the Castle, its governor and garrison - the Castle Church. It is now a grade 1 listed magnificent building.
