Maud Heath's Causeway will be 550 years old in 2024. Join us at The Maud Heath Centre, formally the village school, located on the Causeway and learn about Maud Heath, the history of the causeway & listen to the song we commissioned for the occasion.

The Maud Heath Centre is located on Maud Heath's Causeway and was once the village school. The building is now owned by Girl Guiding Wiltshire North and used as residential accommodation for Guiding and Scouting.
To celebrate the 550th anniversary of Maud Heath's Causeway Yesterday's Story CIC, along with partners The Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre, Chippenham Library and Chippenham Museum, have run talks, worked with writes groups, photography groups, walking groups, held an exhibition and composed a song to explore the lady behind the gift that created the causeway.
Join us to see what the community have learnt about Maud Heath and how she has been viewed throughout history.
