The Masonic Hall
Masonic Hall, Morris Lane, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 1NU
John Pearse, a Borough MP and Army Contractor, had the Hall built in 1819 and this served as a girls’ school for a number of years. In 1881 the old school was purchased for £166 and became the Devizes Masonic Hall and has been used for Masonic meetings since 1882. It has since been extended several times. A small exhibition of Masonic artefacts and regalia will also be on display for those interested.
The Hall will be open on Saturday from 10.00 until 15.00. Members of the Lodges that meet there will be on hand to act as guides and answer any questions with regard to the building or Freemasonry in general
