Heritage Open Days continues to flourish as a unique joint-venture spanning the public, private and voluntary sectors, with more than 2,200 organisations involved in making the festival happen. Special thanks go to:
I am a huge fan of Heritage Open Days, and everything that it stands for. Places of history and heritage help to bind our communities together. The festival is an opportunity to celebrate their importance, reaching beyond boundaries and bringing people together; all made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of hundreds of volunteers. Long may it continue to inspire.
Heritage Open Days is a great opportunity for all of us to learn more about and celebrate the wonderful wealth of history and culture we have on our doorsteps. It is great to see player support helping create such a brilliantly varied programme of events – there really is something for everyone. Thanks to players, Postcode Earth Trust has awarded over £5 million to the National Trust, enabling the continuation of its conservation efforts and ensuring the success of events like Heritage Open Days, making them accessible and free for all.
