The Friends of St John, Parson Drove and The John Peck Society invite you to celebrate the heritage of John Peck, 19th century resident of Parson Drove, and the history of the village, as we explore his connections and networks throughout the fens.

A weekend of events celebrating John Peck, his life in Parson Drove and beyond, and the history of the village in the 19th century. We will explore his renowned diaries which tell us so much about life in the fens in the 1800s, with displays and events at St Johns Church. A tour on a vintage bus will take you through the fen landscape with commentary highlighting John's exploits in the area. An evening event will showcase food and drink typical of the mid 1800s along with music of the time.

The church is very old, and although is accessible, the floors are very uneven. There are toilet facilities - portaloos. Refreshments will be available. Roadside parking.
