Hear where it all began, this talk will look back to where the SPCA began, before it received it's Royal "R" status, when it arrived in Norfolk and how it evolved.

Learn about the differences between the Local Charity and the more recognised National Charity and what both do for animals and owners.

This talk is part of an event marking the 60th anniversary of the RSPCA Mid Norfolk and North Suffolk Branch, which coincides with the 200th anniversary of its parent charity, the National RSPCA. An exhibition and other activities will be at The Forum during Heritage Open Days from Tue 10 - Sun 15 Sep.
