  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Visit this special exhibition marking the 60th anniversary of the RSPCA Mid Norfolk and North Suffolk Branch, which coincides with the 200th anniversary of its parent charity, the National RSPCA.

Discover the history, impact and the stories of their work over the last 60 years and beyond. See displays about how and where the RSPCA was formed, milestones over the last 200 years, the role the RSPCA played in both world wars working alongside the Army Veterinary Corps and what an Inspector does. Walk down memory lane with the history of previous sites, animal homes and shops in Norfolk. Learn about the animals treated at RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Hospital and handle some of their amazing collection.

Wander through the Supporters’ gallery where you will see displays from the 60 schools for 60 years project, try to spot your adopted animal from the picture gallery and watch some archive and present-day film clips.

Includes pop up shop, children’s activities, prize draw and much more with the RSPCA team on hand to answer questions, share memories and give advice.

There will be three talks on Sat 14 Sep - bookable via norfolkhods.ticketsolve.com:
10am - RSPCA: Who they really are
12pm - RSPCA at War
2pm - Entanglements: Impact on Wildlife Rehabilitation
