Shipwright Scaffolding Tour

Shipwrights will discuss how they combine traditional and modern tools with teamwork and skill to undertake this vital conservation work.  

Please note you must be 16 years or older to take part in this tour. Participants must also be able to climb multiple flights of steep stairs and walk on uneven surfaces. You will also be required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Space is limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Booking this event does not include general entry to the museums or ships. A valid ticket is required to visit these areas. -Pre-booking is essential -Max of 15 people per tour, 45 minutes in length -Participants must be able to climb multiple flights of steep stairs and walk on uneven surfaces. You will also be supplied with Personal Protective Equipment such as steel toe capped boots, Hard hat and hi vis jacket.
