Find out about the historic pottery town of Longton by exploring our built heritage on this fascinating walk.

Longton’s buildings tell the industrial tale of the development of the area and the important role it played in the pottery industry. Local historian, Phil Rowley's route takes in landmarks and some of the remaining bottle ovens of Longton. An ideal way to learn about the town’s history. Beginning and ending at Gladstone Pottery Museum car park, the tour should take around an hour and a half. Co-odinated by the Potteries Heritage Society.
