During the open day there will be opportunity to explore both the church and the extensive churchyard, enjoy home-made refreshments and, from 2.00pm, for younger children to participate in Unicorn Racing!

This grade 1 listed building has parts which date from the 14th century, with many monuments and graves commemorating notable people from Manchester over the centuries. An active Christian community finds its home here including an accomplished church choir; the building is also seen on Coronation Street from time to time, masquerading as 'St Mary's Weatherfield'. During the open day there will be opportunity to explore both the church and the extensive churchyard, enjoy home-made refreshments and, from 2.00pm, for younger children to participate in Unicorn Racing!

Church Lane, Prestwich M25 1AN Open Saturday 14th September from 10.00am - 4.00pm St Mary's Church does not have a car park and there is very limited parking on Church Lane. On street parking can be found on Church Drive which is a couple of minutes walk from St Mary's. Alternatively there is a large public car park at the Longfield Centre, opposite Prestwich tram stop and another smaller car park off Clifton Road behind the NatWest bank on Bury New Road. Both of these car parks are approximately a five minute walk from St Mary's Church.
