Sale Town Hall is throwing open it’s doors to celebrate Sale Heritage Open Day on Sunday 15 September from 12 to 4 pm, Join us for a fun day of talks, children's activities and access to areas usually closed to the public.

We’re welcoming the public to visit Sale Town Hall, one of the areas most notable buildings, designed and built in 1915 by architect Charles Thomas Adshead for Sale Urban District Council. This is a great opportunity to gain a fascinating insight into a landmark civic building and find out more about local history. Trafford Local Studies volunteers will be on hand to help visitors interested in researching their family history, and a range of local history books, historical maps and research guides will be available to browse. The Town Hall is a popular wedding venue, come along to see the spaces available for private hire. Everyone is welcome, so please join us for our special heritage day.
