The 1852 Building will be open including the tower, which is accessed by 59 steps up a spiral staircase, giving a great view of Loughborough and surrounding districts. Items from the School's archives will be available to view in adjacent areas.

As part of Loughborough Heritage Open Weekend, guided and self guided tours of the church are available on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th Sept plus a traditional Choral Evensong service sung for centuries in this historic building.

A Saturday opening that promises to be a little bit different

What are the things - tangible and intangible -  which, as a community centre, we cherish and pass on to future generations? This is the question which Fearon Hall's Heritage Open Day will be asking.

Taylor’s Bellfoundry Museum will be open to the public 10am-3pm on Saturday 14th, with bookable slots to tour the Foundry’s Casting Hall, led by Taylor’s Foundry Foreman and our experienced Tour Guides.

Garendon Park is an acadian park and garden just begining to emerge from many years of neglect. The restored 18thC Obelisk is our focus. You are free to wander amongst other surprises.

As part of Loughborough Heritage Weekend we will have an area in Charnwood Museum and invite the public to bring along any items of military memorabilia, objects, documents and photographs.

Historical documents will be available tracing Unity House's history from its inception as a medical aid centre in 1886, its use as a British restaurant in the war, and its current use after being purchased by Mont Follick MP in 1945.

An opportunity to learn about the heritage and future plans of the historic Generator Hall. The CIC team have secured the funds for the renovation work that will transform this building into an Arts & Cultural centre. Due to open in 2025.
