FLOW – Fearon Hall: Past, present and Future with Loughborough Heritage Open Weekend
Fearon Hall Community Centre, Rectory Road, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 1PL
An interactive activity will invite people to place objects, write poems and thoughts onto a 'river of photographs' which depict significant events, people and activities at Fearon Hall, both past and present. Soundscapes and video will be included in the installation.
The outcome of the activity will be a heritage map onto which past, present and future come together.
The ' river' references the reason for the hall’s beginning – built as a celebration of the Arch Deacon Fearon whose commitment to ensuring the supply of fresh water to the town allowed the town and the people to thrive.
