Lydia Eva YH89 Steam Drifter
The Lydia Eva is Great Yarmouth’s last steam drifter. Built in 1930 she acts as a floating museum of the town’s herring fishing industry. Come aboard and discover how the fishermen worked and lived.

The Fishermen's Hospital Almshouse Great Yarmouth
Built in 1702, for ‘decayed’ fishermen, these splendid almshouses are at the north end of the marketplace. Presentations will be given on the history of the building at 1100 and 1400 each day we are open. A cottage will also be open to view.
Gorleston Pavilion Theatre - Guided Backstage Tours
We'll be throwing open our doors to give guided backstage tours of our original Edwardian building, offering insights into how things work behind the scenes and showing you parts of the building that are not normally accessible to the public.
Anna Sewell House
Anna Sewell House in Great Yarmouth is the birthplace of the Black Beauty Author Anna Sewell. Redwings Horse Sanctuary took on guardianship of this special building in 2022.

Quaker Meeting House
An early 19th century Quaker Meeting House, in a walled garden which was once the burial ground. Beneath the building are the remains of a 14th century cell occupied by Augustinian Friars, connected to Gorleston Priory, until c.1536.
The New Caister Lifeboat boat talk and tour
In 2024, Caister Lifeboat welcomed its new Medina Class lifeboat into service as part of a £3.3m upgrade to lifesaving equipment at the station. Our volunteers will be able to take visitors on a tour of the vessel.
