Rectory Cottages, 49 Church Green Road, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK3 6BJ

  • 12 Sep 2024
  • In person
  • Pre-booking required

Find out all about Bletchley's railway flyover, which will finally be used for timetabled passenger trains for the first time since it was built 65 years ago in 1959.

The East West Rail Alliance rebuilt it in an incredible feat of engineering by refurbishing or rebuilding its longest and heaviest spans.
Phil Marsh (the official photographer for the project) gives an illustrated talk looking at the innovative engineering solutions involved - especially the four dimensional modelling and how it was reconstructed using giant Lego bricks! Pre-booking is required.
