Come to the Circus with Ashton Photographic Society! A visual talk about Belle Vue Circus, Manchester, plus an exhibition of members images.

Ashton Photographic Society will be hosting an illustrated talk by Ray Liddy, photo journalist, about Belle Vue, Manchester. You will be transported back in time to the 1960's & 1970's when Belle Vue had a Circus and funfair, you may even see photos of yourself or someone you know.
There will also be an exhibition of images from Photographic Society members, who meet every Thursday at the church, where new members are always welcome.
The talk will take place at St John's Church, King Rd, Ashton OL6 8EZ at 11am on Saturday 14th Sept. The exhibition will be on display from 13th -15th Sept

Directions:
St John’s Church has a magnificent spire that can be seen from many aspects of the parish. You may approach St John’s from the traffic lights at Hurst Cross which is marked by a huge stone cross given by subscription by the people of Hurst around the same time that the church was built. From Hurst Cross proceed down Kings Road. You will see St John’s immediately on the right-hand side.
