Lowestoft Seafest taking place this September

A unique, illustrated talk. Daryl Fraser reads from his Lowestoft novel, Silver Harvest, which covers the period 1826-1956. Local historian, Ivan Bunn, explains the historical setting.

Built as a Congregational Church in 1903, 121years ago . It has many interesting features which have been kept. In 1995 it was consecrated as an RC Church in an Ecumenical Service. Enjoy the dedication to VC Claud Castleton and Art Nouveau windows.

The Lowestoft Town Hall Project Manager, Sheila King, will provide an update on the Town Hall development, including insight into the design work to date and how we're planning to breathe new life into this important historic High Street building.

Lowestoft Arts Centre is a non-profit art centre run by volunteers and has a gallery manned by volunteers who have artwork for sale. There are studios attached with three artists. There will also be information boards showing heritage building dating way back to Tudor times!

We are an Anglican parish church in the Church of England – in fact, we are the most easterly parish! The church was opened in 1869 to serve the fishing community living on ‘the Beach’.
