We are an Anglican parish church in the Church of England – in fact, we are the most easterly parish! The church was opened in 1869 to serve the fishing community living on ‘the Beach’.

Picturesque garden village of Port Sunlight built end of 19th century, originally constructed by Lord Lever as a home for workers at his soap factory, Lever Brothers, which eventually became Unilever.

The church was built in 1929 and designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, one of Britain's greatest 20th-century architects, inspired by basilicas in Rome. Scott regarded it as his 'little gem'. It is grade 2* listed.

Between the train and the bus stations, a landmark in the Durham City Conservation Area, St. Godric's Grade II listed church was designed by Edward Pugin. Opened in 1864 it has beautiful examples of Victorian stained glass and a fine high altar.

This exhibition, called 'Ramsgate's Harbour', is a celebration of the history, heritage, and people involved with the harbour over the centuries.

Dorich House Museum is the 1930s former studio home of the sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband the Hon. Richard Hare. Visitors can enjoy the house and its collections, which include many of Gordine's works, our garden and studio café.
