Visit this Grade I listed ancient Saxon church, which has over 1,000 years of history and stands in the peaceful grounds of Albury Park, within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A rare opportunity to see behind the scenes at this Grade II listed venue, which has hosted an amazing list of stars since it opened in 1965.

The Royal Grammar School: Grade I listed building dating from the late 16th century with later additions. The Chained Library and Tudor schoolroom are open. Information relating to the history of the School is on display in the schoolroom.

Shalford Cemetery octagonal Chapel and Mortuary, built in 1887 of traditional bargate stone to replace the already full churchyard burial ground. The graveyard contains the graves of many well known local people.

Stoke Hospital on Stoke Road, Guildford is holding an Open Garden Event on Saturday, the 14th of September between 2pm and 4:30pm. The gardens are not usually open to the public, so this is a rare opportunity to visit this historic building.

The Meeting House is a Grade II Listed place of worship, opened well over 200 years ago, in 1806. The building, replaces the earlier place of worship and burying ground across the other side of North Street on the land now called 'Quakers Acre'.

The highlights of our colourful history: the castle and its royal visitors, an archbishop with a fishy past, the house that Lewis Carroll chose, Alan Turing growing up, ancient inns and churches.

This walk is a chance to recall the lives of many former residents of the town, such as Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, Edward Carpenter, the social reformer, and Henry Peake, the Borough Surveyor who shaped the town we see today.

This Grade II listed hill top church, heavily restored in the 1850s is now the parish church for the village of Chilworth. It has far reaching views over the Surrey countryside and beyond to the South Downs.
