12th Century Parish church open for visitors, interested in the history of the church building and also local family history. Come in and view examples of 14th Century stained glass inside the building.

Astley Church is a fascinating medieval gem and a Grade I listed building. It holds many historic treasures, including post-reformation wall paintings, medieval misericords and alabaster figures of The Grey family (Lady Jane Grey).

Viking Raids at Polesworth Abbey

Vikings raided Polesworth Abbey in 827, and they are back this year on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September. Vikings of Middle England provide Saxon/Viking Village activities and enact the raid and The Big Battle for Polesworth each day.
