Join our heritage volunteers for a guided visit to YSP's historic pump house and Lower Lake to learn about the pump house restoration project and current management of the lakes and parkland.

Look out for over 90 monumental sculptures in the breathtaking Yorkshire landscape by some of the world’s leading artists and spot a variety of wildlife across the vast estate, including an array of birds. YSP’s historic lakes have been home to herons for centuries!

Yorkshire Sculpture Park is located 7 miles outside of Wakefield and 20 miles south of Leeds in West Yorkshire. YSP is conveniently located one mile from M1 Junction 38 and is served by Leeds-Bradford, Doncaster-Sheffield and Manchester International Airports, all within a 90-minute drive away. YSP is also easy to get to by bus from Wakefield and Barnsley. SatNav WF4 4JX brings you to our main car park. Parking is FREE

Please note that this tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair or tramper users. Some outdoor areas of the Park can be difficult to access due to uneven terrain and weather-related changes. Our friendly team at the YSP Centre Information Desk can advise on suggested routes for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. Off-road mobility scooters are available to hire free of charge.
