Discover the complete history of the creation of the Bretton Estate lakes that still can be enjoyed today at YSP. Sneak a rare glimpse into the pump house and hear tales of Sir Thomas Wentworth’s boat, the Aurora, which sailed the lakes at the height of the 17th century.
Dress for the weather - hopefully sunglasses and hats! Sturdy and comfortable footwear are required.

Please note, this tour is not accessible for wheelchair or tramper users. Some outdoor areas of the Park can be difficult to access due to uneven terrain and weather-related changes.
