Come along and see the Rosse Observatory in Carleton, Pontefract which was opened on 25th September 1983 and this is will be your chance to see the facilities. The evening will commence with a short talk by Terry Dobson about Beagle 2. You will then be able to look round the observatory and go up into the Dome to see the large telescope. There will also be telescopes and binoculars out on the pad for you to look through.
Hopefully, weather permitting, you will be able to view Saturn and Jupiter as well as other objects in the night sky.
