Join our informative Volunteer Historic Records Keeper for a leisurely and picturesque walk alongside and above the beautiful English Heritage Wrest Park mansion and grounds.

The walk will take you along the outskirts of Wrest Park up a gentle hill where you can get stunning views over the beautiful mansion and grounds. Our guide will fill you in on the history of Wrest Park and the surrounding countryside pointing out all the best features and providing you with a fascinating insight into the De Grey family who lived here, Wrest Park's role as an army hospital in the First World War and its more recent past as an agricultural institute at the forefront of agricultural innovation. The walk will be at a leisurely pace and will take around 90 minutes covering a couple of miles. It's suitable for pushchairs and dogs.
