Join us for a journey into the past at Wotton House. The Grade II listed building dating from the early 18th century was built for Thomas Horton.

Wotton House has been part of the Wotton landscape since 1707, home to some fascinating characters and, for almost 100 years, educating many students. The talk will present a student led research project on the Horton family and subsequent owners and will include mention of some recent archaeology plus a tour of the buildings and the gardens past and present.

There will also be a talk on Saturday 14th September at 11.00am on “The History and Archaeology of Wotton House”. Pre-Booking required for the talk (see separate entry).
