Wicksteed Park Natural Heritage

Join our rangers for a guided walk through our water meadow and learn about the natural features that run through the Wicksteed grounds and the history that extends beyond the playground and rides.
Two routes will be provided to make the tour as accessible as possible. The red trail will take you through the water meadow which will have uneven grounds and largely no marked path. We recommend this for our more adventurous visitors. If you are interested in a more casual stroll but still interested in the nature and history of the park, we recommend the blue trail which will have more level paths throughout. This is more suitable for those who may use a wheelchair or a pram.

Accessibility details
The longer trail consists of mostly uneven ground and is not wheelchair or pram friendly. The shorter trail will be more accessible with level paths.
