  • Pre-booking preferred

A digital trail of Maryport's Roman Fort. You will need your smart phone to follow the trail around the fort site. You'll enter a digitally created Roman world to collect virtual artefacts on your walk around the site to learn more about Alauna.

Download the GoYourTour App to your smart phone to take part in a digital experience that will bring the Roman fort, Alauna, to life. No longer just a green field of grazing sheep!

You will have access to the Senhouse Roman Museum, which displays the largest group of Roman military altar stones and inscriptions from any site in Britain and is of international importance, where there will be storytelling to bring the history of some of the artefacts to life.

And there will be Roman food to sample - created from original Roman recipes and roman music to make the evening more immersive and memorable.
