Warwick Beidge Corn Mill
Warwick Bridge Corn Mill, Little Corby Road, Warwick Bridge, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA4 8RE
The mill was built in the early 19th century and is full of 19th century machinery from the 15 ft diameter waterwheel made in 1843, the cast iron gearing and the stone furniture all date to the nineteenth century. Hopefully the 1870s Hopkinson of Retford oat roller will be restored and working via a belt drive from the waterwheel. Come and watch flour being produced the traditional stoneground way on traditional machinery.
