Wakefield Civic Society Blue Plaques Talk

In October 2023, the Society published a new book about the Society's blue plaque collection. At the launch, Wakefield Civic Society president, Kevin Trickett MBE, explained the background to the Society's blue plaques and looked at the history of blue plaques across the country. As 'another chance to see', Kevin will be repeating the talk in the Society's office at Wakefield Town Hall on the afternoon of Tuesday, 10th September 2024, starting at 2.15pm.
Anyone attending this illustarted talk will be given a free copy of the new book. The talk is expected to last for a around one hour including time for questions.
The talk is open to all and there is no charge for admission. Space is limited and tickets must be pre-booked.
