Village School to Village Hub: A Tour of The Centre

Built in 1838, The Centre began its journey as a village school, built for the local miner's children. Extended and rebuilt over the coming years with many uses (including an air raid siren in the bell tower!) the building now stands proudly in Poynton's centre, providing space for community groups, clubs and workshops.

Join a tour of this incredible building and learn about its history, from a Victorian school to a community hub.
