Join Historian Mervyn Edwards and delve in to the rich history of St Mark's church, Shelton - the Potters Cathedral.

A talk by Author and Historian Mervyn Edwards to uncover the hidden history of St Mark's church, Shelton.

Locally referred to as the 'Potters Cathedral', St Mark's holds an important place in the history of the area. Find out more about the rare Tinworth Reredos, the Minton Hollins tiles that were made by potters just around the corner from St Mark's and the link between the Twyfords and the church.

VR tours of the newly conserved church tower will be available to enable you to get a unique birds eye view of Shelton and beyond.

There is a bus stop outside the church in Snow Hill. Bus times can be found here https://bustimes.org/stops/3890D031701 If you are coming by car, parking is available in the side streets. You will not be able to park in the church yard. You are welcome to bring your bike in to the church yard to keep it safe
