The Church of St Peter, Paul and Mary occupies the same site as the Bell Tower, previously a church in its own right. The site has a history going back to the Crusades and then the English Civil War. Enjoy the present use of this amazing combination.

The main church bears evidence of the Crusades in the middle ages (1030 to 1500) Examine its development and relics. The nave is in the Diocese of Gloucester, whilst the Chancel and Sanctuary are officially in the Diocese of Hereford, although responsibility for the maintenance of the latter now lies with (??????). This anomaly arose at the time of Henry V111 when the Diocese of Gloucester was created.
Examination of the Bell Tower shows evidence of its previous attached buildings, whilst the bells are a local wonder of the power of communication.
