  • Available anytime
  • Online event
  • Pre-booking not required

Visitors will have virtual access to the Town Hall which is listed Grade II* and forms part of a complex of civic buildings designed by the architects Harvey and Wicks between 1924 and 1928.

The Town Hall, Museum and Coroner's Court were built in memory of Brooke Robinson, a prominent local solicitor, borough coroner and MP, and his wife, Eugenia. The complex was designed by architects Harvey & Wicks and built from 1926 to 1928. The building is listed Grade II*, along with the other buildings within the Town Hall complex. The Town Hall has an impressive interior that retains its internal plan and much of its decoration. It also contains a mural depicting Sir Roger de Somery hunting in the Royal Forest at Kinver, painted by German exile Hans Feibusch in 1948. Find out more by viewing the virtual tour and reading about its history in the downloadable information included.
