Tour of the Alpine Club Library

A tour of the Alpine Club library showing highlights from the club's collection relating to mountaineering from 1857 onwards. The visit will also include a preview of the club's exhibition of Edward Compton paintings of Alpine scenes.

This is a rare opportunity to see a collection usually only visited by club members and researchers and hear a little about the fascinating history of the world's first Alpine Club.
