Headstone Manor is the only completely moated Manor House in Greater London. The Manor House still standing today dates from 1310.

Sturdy flat footwear is essential. Tour participants must be able to climb narrow steps / stairs.

Some of the rooms can be accessed only via steps and some doorways are only 70cm wide. There is a small platform lift to the first floor where four rooms are step-free but doorways are narrow. Please dress warmly in cold weather and wear robust shoes. Some floors are uneven and some stairs have rope handrails. We begin the tour outdoors and most of the museum is unheated.
Headstone Manor & Museum is open from 1000-1600 (with last entry at 1530). During Heritage Open Days we will offer a coffee and cake deal at the Moat café.
