Professor Steve Harding - author of Ingimund’s Saga - and Sue Bishop take us around one of the most historical sites in NW England – Cross Hill, believed to be the site of the “Thing” Assembly or parliament of Wirral’s Norse settlers –who colonised Wirral around AD902 and the years after.

The walk will not be suitable for unaccompanied minors below 12 years.
Due to the proximity of stables, dogs are not allowed.
Wear robust footwear and be prepared for rain.

Refreshments available for purchase at the Basset Hound at the end of the walk
