  • Available anytime
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Come and admire the amazing new murals, inspired by Swindon's heritage, that are enhancing the public spaces around the Railway Village and Rodbourne.

Lots of changes have been made in Swindon’s historic Railway Village due to funding from the Heritage Action Zone and the Town’s Fund. Buildings have been restored and public spaces enhanced. Some of the funding has enabled the creation of new public art and interpretation inspired by the historic buildings and their stories. Use the map to spot all the new murals created by talented artists working with volunteers, local schools and New College students.

The walk is about 1.3 miles long and will take an hour. As you look for the murals, make sure to spot the new heritage trail signs and learn about Swindon’s railway history at the same time.
