The Old Cottage
The Old Cottage, 11 Bridge Square, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7QR
Guided tour of a Grade II listed building, now a private residence. The building dates back to around 1470. At that time, it was on the southern extremity of the town, and would have been the first building seen by travellers approaching along the route from the south. It was originally a 3 bay Wealden house, with the middle bay open to the roof. A ceiling and chimney were added in the 17th century.
