The Kings Theatre Open Day

Free tours need to be pre-booked through The Kings Theatre website. There will be a number of both Tech and History tours offered throughout the day but numbers are limited. The Tours will take approx. 40 mins. Both tours require you to be able to climb up to 5 stories of steps. There will be a slightly altered version of the History tour offered to reduce this to 3 stories, this will be highlighted at the time of booking.
Stage performances will be from The Kings School of Performing Arts as well as local Am-Dram societies.
Exhibits will include the Theatres rich history, speak to the Archivists and our plans for regeneration.
Other activities and exhibitors to be announced.

Accessibility details
The lower level of the Theatre is accessible to Wheelchairs / pushchairs etc. This will enable you to access the exhibit on our plans for regeneration as well as all stage performances and refreshments. Both tours require you to be able to climb up to 5 stories of steps. There will be a slightly altered version of the History tour offered to reduce this to 3 stories, this will be highlighted at the time of booking.
