This tour will start with a “behind the scenes” visit to our admin offices, before taking visitors deep into the belly of the Humber Bridge.

The Humber Bridge is an iconic landmark for the Humber region. A feat of modern British engineering. A Grade 1 listed structure. A welcome sign of home after a long trip. Many cross over the Bridge by road and foot everyday, but few people have witnessed the amazing sights beneath the Bridge deck. 2024 sees the Humber Bridge launch their Heritage Open Days programme with an exclusive tour of the captivating road deck. This tour will start with a “behind the scenes” visit to our admin offices, before taking visitors deep into the belly of the Humber Bridge.

You’ll be walking inside the road deck, which seems to stretch endlessly,visiting its amphitheatre-like chambers filled with intriguing machinery and the breath-taking roar of the traffic above.

Places are limited to 12 per tour, so booking is essential - Due to restrictions within the structure and accessibility issues, the tour can only be undertaken by able-bodied individuals over 18 years old.
