The Foord Almshouses

The Foord Almshouses is opening its doors to the public, as it has done to its residence since 1927, for the opportunity to join us on accompanied tours of the site and maybe the opportunity to see inside an Almshouse flat… or two! Along with some cold refreshments being served, there will also be a small exhibition that can be viewed in the Main Hall.

Some of our pathways are a little uneven in places. Access to some of the flats will be restricted. Parking available on 1st come 1st serve basis.

Additional information

Residents live on site at the almshouses & therefore this has to be considered when guests are walking around the site.
