Walk down the small lane which leads to the DOVE RIVER CHURCH.This Baptist Chapel was built in 1868 with a white brick façade (favoured for impressive fronts where stone was not available).It has grapevine details on either side of the central window and the building discoloured by the years, the brick — as with Suffolk reds is best left uncleaned, as it is so soft that the process can cause permanent damage.
This year the Dove River Church is opening for four events. Open Church Friday's, all are welcome to visit and view the Church and have light refreshments between 09.30 and 11.30 am. Saturday sees the Church Ride and Stride between 09.00 and 17.00 pm all are welcome to visit the Church. On Sunday September 15th Free tea and coffee and lots of children's activities from 12.00 until 16.00 or you are welcome to attend the Sunday service at 10.30 am

The Dove River Church also operates the Dove Hall on Dove Street no access to this building on Sunday. Dove Lane is off Church Street between the Dove River Church and the Eye Town Hall.
