St John's Dewsbury Moor celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2023 and will again be open on Sat 7th and 14th Sept 24. from 1100am - 3.00pm for history. ancestry and activities.

Come and see our spectacular stained glass windows and delve into the churches history through our extensive archive and online access.
See the photographs of old Dewsbury and discuss with Dewsbury Matters those who served & died in two world wars. Look at the history of gifts donated to St John's over 200 years and enjoy the organ music and St John's School choir. Sit and have a drink with perhaps a cake and biscuits before you join the small tour of our churchyard highlighting people of interest and influence.
