Monument, War Memorial Park, Kenilworth Road, Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 6PT

  • Multiple dates available
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

The Chamber of Silence is a small room inside the Monument in the middle of the War Memorial Park

The Chamber is open only twice a year, on Remembrance Sunday, when dignitaries gather prior to the Remembrance Service and Heritage Days, when Friends of the Memorial Park volunteer to open the chamber.
Visitors can walk inside a room that most people say they've never been in before and wondered what it was like. They can hear about the history of the Chamber and the Monument.
The Rolls of the Fallen (the only list of those citizen's of Coventry who lost their lives in conflict, mainly 1st and 2nd World War) will be available to view and maybe look for a relative's name.
