John Jones, nuclear expert and local guide will talk on Wheatstone and how he helped bring about the modern world. Wheatstone was a brilliant man, but quite shy, preferring Florence Nightingale or Michael Faraday to speak for him. However, his inspiration of others is perhaps more important than his own inventions.
