St Thomas' is a small parish church set in a hilltop village above Holmfirth in West Yorkshire We will explore its heritage, links with the past and connections with the local community, the countryside and local walking a transport links.

1. Our heritage and past record books (including some marriage, baptism and burial records) will be on display and available for perusal
2. Original stained glass window designed by William Wailes in 1870
3. Original pipe organ made by Kirtland & Jardine in 1870
4. Information boards showing the local public footpaths and railway, and the parish connection to the former Storthes Hall Hospital
5.Information on how the village has links to the creation of the toll road from Oldham
6."Tommy's Trail" - a guide around the church for children
7. Information will be available on the parish link to the Upper Home Valley Team of Churches
8. A Messy Church event - "A Walk Through the Woods" on Sun 15th September - the walk will commence at 2pm prompt and is open to all ages. At 4pm (at the end of the walk) refreshments will be served in the church room
