Ever wondered why the Priests have different coloured Vestments, and what all the Holy Vessels are called? Come and see our displays and learn about the Liturgical times of year and the celebration of the Eucharist, the most important aspect of our faith. There will be some everyday day Vestments worn during todays Masses and some really heavy ornate vestments of yesteryears.
Discover our connections to Lady Southwell who donated the land on which the church was built, the Blounte Family, the charge of the Light Brigade and marvel at the stained glass windows designed by Paul Woodroffe.
The Church is of Gothic Perpendicular style and has two amazing reredos' with such intricate carving, a crenelated Tower and a fabulous roof scape. Climb the tiny stairs to the organ loft and listen to the peel of Bells calling the Angelus, the call to mass and more.
A programme of events and a history booklet will be available.

Wheel chair users will not be able to use the narrow staircase to the organ loft. Everything else can be negotiated with time and patience, there are 2 steps to negotiate if going into the garden, and the lawn is not level and so some strength may be required on the grass. Those with mobility issues will need to bring a helper to assist navigation of the 2 steps into the covered walkway and and if visiting the garden. Motorised wheel chairs/buggies will not fit through the old narrow walkways in the private areas and access to the garden will be limited.
