St Peter and St Paul Albury Old Saxon Church
St Peter and St Paul Albury, Old Parish Church, Albury Park, New Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU5 9BB
Designed by the renowned Victorian architect Augustus Welby Pugin, it is lavishly decorated, with stained glass, painted walls and ceiling and a magnificent tiled floor, a classic example of Pugin’s eye for gothic design. The church has been featured in films and television, including the film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
The Friends of the Old Saxon Church have recently finished an extensive £40k conservation / restoration programme in the Drummond Chapel. A virtual tour can be seen on the website www.alburyoldsaxonchurch.org.

- Having turned off the Sherbourne road into New road , the entrance to the church is immediately on the left . There is a sign post on the right grass bank indicating the entrance . Go over the cattlegrid and then follow the driveway down to the church at the end .
